after eating nasik goreng pattaya with sambal petai for lunch, i spent some time reading and browsing through some blogs.then i stumbled upon this new blog and after i read his 1st post, and i was amazed about what we have in common : thoughts.

so here's his entry:

I always have been quite skeptic about blogs, not understanding the full purpose or what the function was of posting notes and here i am doing exactly that.

It’s 28/06/2009, a warm and extremly humid saturday night in the city described as the playground for upcoming architect. A city where the people are so different one another that the true identity of the whole is changing. As i sit in my room with my headphone up, so as not to disturbe my parents, behind my computer i start wondering what kind of surprises the future has for us.

I can remember the movies from the ’90s, where 2009 was depicted as a time where people would travel with flying cars, and other planets would have been populated. But.. things haven’t gone as fast as some thought.

We live in a society of consumption, where money is existince and power is a long lasting orgasm that fades the eyesight. True problems, as hunger, disseases are put on the bottem list. ‘cause what’s more important than status, right?

Doesn’t everybody dream of a shinning red ferrari. Even if in all big metropolitan cities there’s a stoplight every 200m, and you can’t travel faster than 120km/h on the freeway. Doesn’t everybody want a big screen LCD television. So that every night, when your laying on the couch in your pj you can watch the same program over and over again.

What has the purpose of study become? Is it to enlighten ourselfs, or is it to work your ass of five day’s a week, 9 hours a day, so that your narcistic overweight boss can laugh at you when he tells his stories about how rich he is.

Imagine yourself.. just for a moment..

You got no obligations, no job to worry about, no wife, no children.
Just you and the rest, travelling accros the world, and see, listen, taste, learn and much more what this planet got to offer you. This planet, the entire planet, your home.

You could sail accros the ocean on a pearl white catamaran. Lying on the net that is tightend between the two hulls, the boat on autopilot, the sun shining on you, smooth cool wind stroking your skin and giving you goosbumbs, and watch the theater of clouds in the sky. Meanwhile the water clutches against the hull and breaks up in small particles that glitter in the sunlight, where they break open in the air and the smell of salt fills the surrounding.

Occasionally dolphins appear, which are moving in harmony with the boot and defying the waves, and after a while dissapear in the deep depths of the ocean.
The nature, the sea, the dawn of life and yourself, both in harmony and in fight with each other, not knowing where to go, not knowing where you’ll end. Adventure…

Or maybe take a car and tackle the massive road network.
With the windows open, one hand on the steering wheel, and one hanging out, singing along to your favorite songs that runs on the radio. Driving by the large open plains, where the frame of the artpiece, the frame of the car window is. And the ‘Van Gogh’ every second chances in the air.
